I'm so happy! Why am I so happy? I really don't know, but I'm just happy! It's been like this for a long time. I've just been happy lately. Not that I'm complaining or anything... *_* I wasn't even sad on the day after Christmas, like I usualy am. Maybe because this year I realized that for me, Christmas is a season, not a day. So anyway, that was probably pretty boring to read, but now I am going to be up until forever on wednesday night doing my homework.

Yesterday I went ice-skating with Rebecca, Emily, Seva, Katie Wo., and Rhea (Katie B. showed up after we ice skated) We skated for a while and their was lots of crazy hat-stealing and chasing.... Then Rhea got a blister and Rebecca hurt her hip badly and so me and Rhea and Rebecca went into the Star Diner. Katie joined us, then we went back out to see Emily and Seva. We visited Ryan at Michaels so that Katie could find out how much was on her Michaels card. Then we... hmm.. I think we went to Potomac Pizza and Seva and Katie ate food. We bought fries for Ryan so he could have dinner after he was done working. Then we waited for Emily's and Seva's rides. Rhea went home with Emily. Katie, Rebecca and I went to wait for Ryan to get off of work, then he got off work and we hung out with him for like a half an hour, then Katie's parents gave everyone a ride home, nice people that they are. Funness of the fun sort.

well... I looked at the rest of the results and I'm pretty glad I got this one.....

I SAW HARRY POTTER! whee! it was so good! yay! Now I have to see The Two Towers again. ahhhhh... Aragorn is so cool. And I don't like him because of his looks (although.... they don't hurt). I wish my cousins lived in Maryland. Christmas is so quiet, and it shouldn't be. It should be filled with little children running around and squealing over their new toys. Sometimes I miss being a little kid. I try to hold onto tradition because traditions are fragments of my childhood. Then again, I am thankful that I am old enough to overlook the materialistic side of Christmas. There weren't many presents this year because we have been so busy and there was a family emergency right before Christmas, but that didn't bother me. Christmas is about love, and that's the spirit of the season. There is enough love in my family to take the place of any item. I am just happy that my family gets along and always has (and always will, if I have any say in it). I also know that Christmas is about religion, and sometimes I wish that I was part of a religion. I wish there was a church where you don't have to believe in anything to be part of it. I would go there to learn about what they believe, what is in the bible, and to sing songs and participate in the community. Maybe there is one... is there? I am such a religion ignoramous. Nevertheless, I love Christmas because of the whole harmonious feeling in the air. Horray for Christmas!

Now I am doing my english homework, but I think I will go read Irresistable Potion. I also have to run, but that can wait *_*

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE!

Sniff’um muffins
This weekend was one of the best I have had in a long time. Busy, but fun, which shows how much I love to be busy. I had to rush out and buy Christmas presents on Saturday and Sunday, which was fun because I love finding things for my friends. I'm pretty sure everyone liked what I gave them. I'm still looking for your's Jason! On Saturday I went to see "Lord of the Rings" with Rebecca. It was sooooooooooo good! Even better than the first, which is saying something. I have to see it again to let it all soak in. And again.. and again.. hehe. (Aragorn/Strider remains the coolest of them all) We had fun fun fun. Then on Sunday Tri-M preformed at Asbury nursing home, which was fun. We got done early so I went to Mary's house for about 45 minutes and we watched Animé. Horray for Animé! hehe... Then there was a hurdler's sleepover at Emily's house which was also fun. First we went to see a movie. They managed to pick the movie that both Nancy and I would have picked last out of all the movies playing... (because there were no scary ones playing *_*).. which was "The Hot Chick". Yeah... Well it was pretty stupid, but I have to admit it was funny. Then we went to Emily's and watched two other movies and ate chinese food. After I got home the next day I wrapped presents like crazy and then went grocery shopping with my group for the "family basket" community service project. It was me, Mary, Jason and Matt A. and we spent $20 more than the budget. Oops. I hope the family has a wonderful Christmas and are well fed *_* . I didn't get to go with them to give the stuff to the family because I had to finish wrapping presents. At five I went to a Christmas party at Katie's house. It was so much fun! It was Katie, Rebecca, Regina, Nancy, Emily, Katie Wo., Katie Wa., Seva, Richard, and Kyle. Bernadette was invited, but I guess she couldn't come. Hahaha we are so crazy and thats what makes being with them so much fun. (Plus other fun stuff that makes them fun *_*) We all exchanged presents and ate lasagna and played sardines and man-hunt and laughed alot. I am tired as beans now and going to bed. My crazy weekend is over and it is Christmas Eve's eve!

I'm soooooooo tired. I told Nancy that today and she said "How can you be? You just had three days off school." But those were three very emotionally draining days. I don't have time to expand because I need to go to bed. Buuuuuuut..... I have 12 days because IT"S CHRISTMAS BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is yet another palindrome, I don't think Dan is really in a droop...or atleast I hope not :) They need to cancel school tommorow! Here's my proof....

The only sad thing about no school tommorow would be no orchestra dress rehersal, and our concert is Thursday. I have to go do my work now... bleh..... Haha.. that's what Lucy from "Peanuts" says when Snoopy kisses her. Well I feel the same way about homework.

This was definately a bitter sweet weekend, and when I was riding home in the car I was on the weirdest emotional roller coaster ever. I can't expand today, because my dad will probably make me go to bed soon, I am soo tired. I will give you an over veiw of the weekend. (don't mind the grammer and punctuation, im typing fast)

FRIDAY: we sat in the car for about and hour and a hlaf on the way to the airport because the traffic was so bad, but we made our flight which was good. In the airplane I took a million pictures out of the window because oit was a really clear day and the snow was sooo beautiful. The mountains were so cool, and you could see those windy rivers that look like snakes. Sometimes it was just like a x-mas card, it was sooooo pretty. oh my gosh.. I love to fly soo much so much so much. I even love turbulence. and when the plane goes sideways, and wow its soooo cool. I would be so happy to learn to fly an airplane and I told my mom that and she said"maybe one day you will" wow that would be so cool.......... aaaaaaaahhhhhhh *_*

So then we got there and we went to Joe's crab shack to eat, and I had pasta (without the crab) and key lime pie (yum!). Then we went home and me and kerry practiced. Oh yeah, out 2 families traveled together like we did last year and shared a rental car and stuff. It's always awkward with me and her, we dont have much in common so we dont say much to eachother. We got cramps from eating too much and then dancing, but I love to dance *_* yay!

SATURDAY: we got up at 7 and i had fruit and cereal for breakfast. me and liz, who is my friend from dancing and she's so nice and so much fun, got ready and went down to practice and check in (the competition was in the same hotel as we were staying in, but she was in a different room so she kept her stuff in my room). arg....running out of time.... i wont give so much detail.. OK so we waited to dance and then we danced and then we waited forever for them to call recalls. if you get a recall you get to dance your "set" which has different music and...its hard to explain, but we both didn't get recalled. Neither did alot of girls in my dance school who worked really hard and deserved it. so the people who got recalled (they recall the top 50% based on the scores from what you already dnaced) danced, and then we waited some more and then it was the awards ceremony and no body from our school was really happy with their place besides sarah who's really good and got 3rd (our of like 40 people, there were 60 in my competition).

After the awards, was the dinner dance where we get dressed up in fancyness and eat and its fun. Some of the younger girls were being kind of unreasonable about how the older girls wanted the older girls at one table and the younger ones at another (this is all from our dance school only). I will explain in another post. But I was at the younger table and after we ate we left and played elevator tag and it was so fun! whee! and me and liz were on a team and the elevator opened and we thought it was another team and we screamed but it was two random girls and they were just like "woah......" haha... fun times. Oh, i forgot..... Before the dinner dance we got a call from my dad, and we all knew my uncle hasn't been well since the summer, he has cancer. My dad told us that it doesnt look like there's anything that they can do for him. He has liver cancer and bone cancer and it looks like he's going to die.. So that was really upsetting and my mom and i were really upset (its her oldest brother). She was considering not going out with the moms (while we were at the dinner dance), but i told her she should, because its the worst to be alone. So that was the bitter part of the bitter-sweet weekend

TODAY: we took the plane home and it was pretty un eventfull. Haha.. except when I got on the plane this guy took out the brownie from the lunch they gave us and he was so excited. He was like "Yes! I love these things!" ahha.. it make me laugh... hehe..

So on the car ride home i was listning to music (good charlotte and then avril lavigne :D)and you what music can do to your emotions. It was so weird. I was so high off life.... and so sad at the same time. We had just gotten off the airplane which i absolutely loved and so i was really hyper and i was listning to the music and i just wanted to sing. But kerry and her family were in the car.. so i didnt, but it was like bursting inside of me i was so happy. and then i would think about my uncle.. and get upset. it was so confusing, i cant even explain it. I think what made me happy is that i was thinking about how thankful i was that i was healthy.... and its weird, you know the survey? well the question ive been thinking about the most is the one about blind or deaf. and so I was thinking about how horrible it would be to be blind AND deaf....it would be not even worth living, you wouldnt know you were alive, it would be just so horrible, i cant even imagine. So i was thinking about how happy i am to be able to see and hear, and how happy flying makes me and how much i love music, and i just wanted to sing. then i just wanted to ride a horse really fast or run ten miles in the rain or.... wow, my happyness was on high speed. then I wanted to dance.. flail around dancing wildly with all my friends... and this was alternating with thinking about my uncle.. it was a strange and exhilerating emotional experience..

My mom went to spend the niught with my grandma because all her brothers and sisters went up to new jersey to be with my uncle. She wants to see her brother, but she doesnt want my grandma to be alone if he dies. If one of her brothers or sisters comes back to stay with grandma then she will go up to see him. I hope there is a God.......... I wish I had religion; had something to believe in, something that will help my uncle. Please pray for him, I will be. If there is a God I hope he helps, because my uncle has a family, he has so much to live for, and he doesnt deserve to die so early.. Maybe death comes with life, but it shouldnt come this early.
