“Reviled did I live,” said I, “as evil I did deliver”
I just realized the literal meaning of awesome! It means full of awe. Wholesome means full of wholeness, right? So awesome.. is full of awe. Okay, that's all for 'Learning with Anna' for today.
I found a whole bunch of interviews with Elijah and the rest of the Lord of the Rings cast! You can go to here you can see that we've gotten pretty much all the snow we are going to get. I guess I wouldn't mind going to school because I want to do the Carraba's concert. Anything orchestra is fun! But then... staying home means another Lord of the Rings day! And Lord of the Rings means hobbits! Rebecca rode the bus home and came to my house and we watched The Fellowship of the Ring and some actor intervies *_* She kept plucking feathers from her sleeves and my brother was blowing them around and it was crazy. It was fun!
Friday is solo and ensemble. I'm kind of nervous because I want to do well. I know my part pretty well, and Mary knows hers, we'll just see how it goes when we're up infront of the judges. We played for Mr. O and he said it sounded good, which was encouraging. No matter how we do, atleast I will have gotten some experience with something more challenging than school music.
Okay, here's the daily happiness...
I don't know what he's holding, but I love the picture!! *_*
Hahah Orlando looks confused!! And Dom's tie is stripey...
HOBBITS!
Those are to remind Aragorn that he's still my favorite character! Although, Frodo is getting up there as I read return of the king...and read more about Elijah....
OK! Now that all those who don't like Lord of the Rings are bored and I have successfully loaded so many pictures that my page will take hours too load... I bid thee good night :D
P.S. Don't mind the post under this one, I did something so that I can't make it go away. If you are interested in my mistake, just ask me about it.

You all have to go here and watch this!!! He sings in a high vioce!!! *_* *_* *_* ::What do you mean, who's 'he'? Who else could it be??::
Wow... Orlando Bloom is a vegetarian!!! How cool is that? Liv Tyler used to be, but she isn't any more. Hmm... Don't mind the small font, it's something to do with the quiz pictures, but I can't figure out how to fix it.
Go deliver a dare, vile dog
Back to school, back to school, to prove to dad that I'm not a fool.... :D That's from Billy Madison.
Well, today was the first day back. I guess it wasn't too bad. Actually, now that I think about it, it was pretty good. There was a two hour delay; I got a B on my timed writing for AP gov that I thought I did really horribly on; I got my hurdler hoodie; and I got to come home at the regular time because it's off season; and I just finished watching extras from my LOTR DVD. I don't think anything bad happened at all! I don't even have as much homework as I thought I would. Ms. Lynch is the only one who gave alot. I should probably continue with my work, I want to go online later tonight.
Hahahahahah!!! I can't think of anything else to say...well.....awwwwwww!!!
"Elijah Wood is wise beyond his age, absolutely magnetic, and a hell of an actor. Thank goodness he hasn't yet sold out. Lij is far more than a pretty face and bright blue eyes. His days as a child and teen actor may have gotten him press in the teenie mags, but he thankfully shunned all that, as well as making some very wise choices for material. (Ok, there was Flipper, but...) I'm actually glad to have discovered him as an adult, to be better able to asses his work without the bias of having dealt with his childhood hype. He's an open-hearted but introspectful person who did a lot of coming of age over the course of the LOTR filming, and I'm very much looking forward to his work for what is sure to be a long and outstanding career. He's weird, opinionated, geeky and beginning to grow wild. It's great to watch."
I want to know him!!!

Blaahhh this reading is torture. I know the civil rights movement was important, but it's so hard to concentrate on these readings. I just keep coming to the computer, looking at everyones blogs. Blogs are so much fun, especially now that I know how to do pictures and stuff like that. I would go read my archives... but I have to read. I want to read "The Return of the King"! Later today my dad and I are going to Trader Joes and Magruder's and Staples (so I can get stuff to stick up my posters with!!). So I will get to buy fun and exciting foods, then come home and put up my two LOTR posters and my Beatles posters. I want my reading done but I don't want to go through the process. I am probably boring you to death as you read my whinnings, so I will go bore myself to death with school work. *_* Have a hobbity day!
There's a girl with my name in Guernsey (where my grandpa grew up) who is a sailing champion! That's so cool, I'm jealous. Hahaha... sailing....*_*
The more school we miss, the lazier I get. Actually, I did quite a bit of homework yesterday, but I still have many, many government readings to do and a goal map for health. I need some poster board for the goal map and some sanity for the readings. I would much rather be finishing "The Return of the King". Sorry, Jason, but it's the truth :D
I saw The Two Towers again!!!! And now I have to see it again! Hahaha.. really, it's addicting. To sit in the theater with that magical world, magical story, and magical characters. All the rest of the terrorist, war-crazy world is blocked out and it's three hours of hobbity bliss. *_* I also got past the climax in the book, "The Return of the King". Ahhhhh It was so good! I know I'll be crying in the movie. It's both sad and happy. I don't want to give anything away to those who haven't read it, but *_* it's so good. They better do it well... but we all know they will. Peter Jackson knows what he's doing.
Speaking of Peter Jackson.. He, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Howard Shore are geniuses. Who would have thought someone could write a story like that, someone could turn it into such a masterpiece of a movie, and someone could write such perfect, moving music for it. All three put together give me literal chills. Especially with the new theme for TTT. I can't wait to hear The Return of the King music.
It shocked me to find out that the Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone movie was bigger than The Fellowship of the Ring. The Harry Potter books are wonderful, but the movie is no where near as great as The Fellowship movie. I guess the popularity of the HP books gave the movie some leverage, and little kids probably loved it. You can go here to investigate.
So! Change of subject. I guess... Hehehe.
We haven't had school for nine days! And....it's raining buckets and the snow is melting. Wouldn't it be the craziest if we didn't have school Monday because of flooding?
My poor, tormented Frodo. But he's so strong! And of course... what would he do without his Sam

Flee to me, remote elf
We have Friday off too! This is crazy, but I'm not complaining. I have had such a Lord of the Rings-ful "break" (because that's what this is, another winter break *_*). I think there's only been one day that I haven't watched something from the extended DVD: commentary, extras, you name it. As you can tell from the pictures, I'm going rabid-fan crazy, but I love it! I don't call it crazy, I call it blessed :) Thomas got a blog too! It's going 'round like the plague, this blog-getting craze. My blog's one year anniversary is March 24! Yay! Oh, and Thomas, a Lord of the Rings life is not a sad one... besides the fact that they are not our friends... that is sad...
I have yet to complete my homework, and more and more is piling up because some of my teachers gave us the work to do if we didn't have school... Blah to them. Well, this quarter is going to be over before we know it because we missed a week. That could be good and it could be bad. It gives you less time to bring up bad grades, which is bad, but also gives you less time to bring down good grades, which is good. So if you have good grades you can be happy, and if you have bad grades you can be sad. But you can be happy because we are missing school *_*
Ms. Muehl must be going crazy. States was supposed to be Monday, but it didn't happen because of the snow. Now her athletes haven't practiced for a week, and they have rescheduled states for Monday. Actually, she has probably called all of them and told them to work out, but it would be kind of hard because of the snow. She has had the worst luck with state competitions lately. In cross country, the sniper attacks took away from their practicing abilities (but they won states any way). Now, the snow has squashed the possibility for any practice except running up and down the stairs in your house and doing push ups... Maybe they'll win this time too!
Some people who have just started reading my blog don't know about my titles. They are all palindroms: words/phrases which are spelled the same forwards and backwards.
Okaaaay, I'm done for real now! I just had to put that one! Even though you can tell it was set up...
We've had so many days off! Every one is a suprise *_* I hope we have Friday off too. Nine day weekend!

*kakakaka* This is Mary, sneaking on to Anna's blog in the wee hours of the morning... I fixed her links, made her archives monthly, and put up her cliques icon down at the right! Everybody go look! I hope Anna likes it ^_^ We had fun drooling over Elijah and joining the fanclub together, go us. XD Anna's Blog's One year Anniversary is March 24! Can't wait! Goodnight, all! Dream of Hobbits (and elves and Aragorn too would be nice ^^) ~MARY
Yay! Elijah fan I am!
"["The War"] was not only fun and challenging, but I loved the message of the movie, which is that in the absence of love, there is nothing worth fighting for. That message is very important to me, because there is so much violence in our world these days. The message of the movie really makes sense, and I think it's very, very important for kids to see. Adults will understand the message, but I think it's too late to change anything; they're already too set in their ways. But kids still have a chance to change things, and that's why I want them to see it." -- Orange County Register, November 8, 1994
Right on, Elijah!

Okay, I know that's not a Hobbit.. but who's complaining??
Ay Ay Ay Ay Ay!

I had my birthday party and it was so much fun! I haven't had a party since 5th grade so it was really cool to have all my crazy friends over. Bah... I wrote a whole bunch.. and it left. Now I'm too mad/annoyed to write it again, but I might later!
You have Pippin eyes! You're the great scot that tends to get into too much trouble. Your eyes are constantly looking a bit lost as you try to follow the others, but you'll catch up. I promise.
I was a blob today *_* And it was good for me (well, probably not)... a day of doing nothing! Well.. I did go to the track to practice hurdling because I forgot to go to practice on Saturday :o I hope Ms. Muehl lets me run regionals. I sent her an e-mail saying I'm sorry I forgot, and I know its no excuse, but I hope I can still run. Hopefully she's in a good mood. Nancy said that people were coming in late and she was glowering at them *gulp* ><
I watched all my delicious extras on my extended Lord of the Rings DVD! It's so cool! Yes, having the movie is cool, but it's just as cool having all the extras. All the actors are these amazingly cool people and since they are actors when they tell their stories they make it so funny! They can act out the people they are imitating so well! Zeeeee it's so cool! *Anna: It makes me hungry! Rebecca:... you want to eat them?* Okay! I'm done with the....crazy.....
Rebecca and Emily went quiz crazy and here are some of them that I took while staying up past my bed time (because I'm convinced we'll have atleast a 2 hour delay tommorow. You can view the approaching storm here )
You are Toby - All you ever do is cry but thats ok cause you're only a baby!
Hahaha.. thats such a funny picture!
Ahhhh! That reminds me! Go here! oh wait... the address is on my other computer... I'll get it for you later.

aww.. well yes, that does suck... the image worked before....
Yay! the image works!
Your Veraladaine! You've a knack with animals. Your father is a god and your mother became one too. Lucky you
I have been so tired these past three days. Tuesday I was skiing, Wednesday I had intervals i(n track), Thursday I had track and then irish dance class, and friday I was at track until 5:15. Plus I am fighting off a cold. Today I have done nothing.. I baked a cake because three of my aunts, an uncle and my grandma are coming over tommorow to celebrate my birthday (coming up) and my aunt's birthday (sometime in January). I also cleaned the bathroom (wheee), did some homework, and read a book while listning to Beatles music. So this is my recover weekend, and hopefully all will be well on Monday, or atleast in time for my birthday.
I'm sure that all of you have heard about how the space shuttle "Columbia" fell apart by now. It's so terrible to imagine.. they were less than 15 minutes from landing safely. I'm sure their families were waiting for them to return, I can't even begin to imagine how they might have felt when they heard the news. What kills me is that if we go to war, families will be feeling this same pain every single day. Bush has sympathy for those families who lost their loved ones in this accident (which he should), yet he is about to send thousands of other families' loved ones to fight. I know that if I was in his position, the answer wouldn't seem so clear, but I just don't see the need for war. Bah.. what do I know..... Yet I do know that war kills and thats not something we need.
